Masternode FAQ

This FAQ will cover most questions about setting up a PAC masternode.  We will be updating this FAQ as new questions are asked, and when updates are available for pre-existing questions.

General Masternode Questions

A masternode is defined as a dedicated system for the $PAC cryptocurrency network that performs special jobs and earns $PAC as a reward for the services provided. Each $PAC masternode is secured by 500,000 coins.  Basically these coins can be stored in a remote wallet (for safety) or on a the same masternode. (not recommended)

Masternode Operational Questions

Be sure that your VPS wallet is completely synced before you press ‘Start Alias’ in your wallet. You can check that with ./paccoin-cli getinfo. Also be sure that you have 15 confirmations on the 500.000 $PAC in the wallet.

Go to Settings> Options > enable Coin Control feature.
Then go to send and go to inputs. Here you can see if you have 1 address with exactly 500.000 $PAC. If that is not the case then you should create a new address with the correct alias and send 500.000 $PAC there wait for the 15 confirmations and type masternode outputs in the debug console.
